31 Days of Praying for My Church
Day 1 Pray for the salvation of everyone at your church, that it would be based on the knowledge and righteousness of God and Jesus Christ. Romans 10:1-3
Day 2 Pray for the safety and deliverance of the missionaries New Life supports and that God would open up doors for them to preach and teach the Word and Gospel, so that it would spread rapidly. 2nd Corinthians 1:8-11; Colossians 4:3; 2nd Thessalonians 3:1
Day 3 Pray that the people of New Life will do what is right and in accordance with the truth. 2nd Corinthians 2:7,8
Day 4 Pray that God gives the people of New Life a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:17
Day 5 Pray that the eyes of the hearts of the people of New Life may be enlightened, so that they will know what is the hope of Christ’s calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe. Ephesians 1:18,19
Day 6 Pray that the people of New Life will be led by the Spirit in their prayers. Epheisans 6:18
Day 7 Pray that the love of the people of New Life will abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that they can figure out those things that God deems excellent, so that they will be sincere and blameless while they are on this earth. Philippians 1:9-11
Day 8 Pray for the peace of God to flood the hearts of the people of New Life as they bring everything to the Lord in prayer instead of living in anxiety. Philippians 4:5-7
Day 9 Pray for the people of New Life that they would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they will walk in a manner worthy and pleasing to the Lord. Pray that they bear fruit in all of their good works and increasing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with His power SO THAT they will attain steadfastness and patience as they give thanks to God the Father. Colossians 1:9-11
Day 10 Pray that the people of New Life stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. Colossians 4:12
Day 11 Pray that God would enact a work of faith in the hearts of the people at New Life, that they would work and labor hard for God out of love, and that they would be steadfast because of their hope in Jesus Christ. 1st Thessalonians 1:2,3
Day 12 Pray that the people of New Life will receive not only the word of the Gospel, but that the Gospel would use its power to bring about salvation and assurance and conviction in the Holy Spirit. 1st Thessalonians 1:4,5; Romans 1:16
Day 13 Pray that the people of New Life will imitate those in Scripture, like Paul, but more importantly, that they would imitate Jesus Christ, even in hardship and persecution. 1st Thessalonians 1:6; 1st John 2:6
Day 14 Pray that the people of New Life will be an example to all other believers in Gahanna, Central Ohio, and the entire state. And pray that example will be one of turning to God from idols in order to serve Him as well as having a joyful anticipation of the return of Jesus. 1st Thessalonians 1:6-10
Day 15 Pray that the people of New Life will be joyful always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances because that is God’s will for them in Christ Jesus. 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18
Day 16 Pray that God would count the people of New Life worthy of their calling, and that God would fulfill every desire for goodness each person has, in order that Christ is glorified. 2nd Thessalonians 1:11,12
Day 17 Pray that the people of New Life would lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity, as well as be burdened to pray for the leaders of our country. 1st Timothy 2:1-3
Day 18 Pray that the men of New Life would pray without wrath and dissension. Pray that they live with their wives in an understanding and loving way. 1st Timothy 2:7-9; 1st Peter 3:7
Day 19 Pray that the women of New Life are less concerned with how they dress and the latest fashions, but are more concerned about clothing themselves with good works. 1st Timothy 2:9,10
Day 20 Pray that the prayers of the elders of the church for those who are sick are effective and bring healing. James 5:14,15
Day 21 Pray that the people of New Life are willing to confess their sins to one another and pray for each other for deliverance from those sins. James 5:16
